Our philosophy of hospitality in Marrakech

Bab Akoul has established a brand identity based on the character of each location, the quality of its hospitality and its deep roots in the Marrakesh way of life.

We do not seek to standardise our properties: each Maison is different, with its own character, whilst remaining instantly recognisable as Bab Akoul.

The brand’s strength lies in this balance: a strong shared identity, combined with unique properties.

Homes, not addresses

Bab Akoul has three gates: the gate to the gardens, the gate to the alleyways, and the gate to the mountain peaks.

At the Palmeraie, the gate opens onto the gardens, the trees, the dining tables and the joy of being together.

In the Medina, it opens onto the narrow streets, the courtyards, the artisans and the living memory of Marrakech.

In the Atlas Mountains, it opens onto the mountains, the silence, nature and a chance to recharge.
