BAB AKOUL Atlas
The House where we find ourselves again
An oasis born of water, at the foot of the High Atlas
In the sun-drenched expanse of the El Haouz region, where the arid plateau meets the horizon, the true wealth here is not gold, it is water.
High above us, the majestic, steep slopes of the High Atlas Mountains capture the winter snows and rare rains, channeling life deep into the earth. For generations, generations of patient work tapped into this hidden wealth, transforming a stark desert landscape into a flourishing sanctuary.
A park and gardens to explore
Atlas palms, jacarandas with their blue flowers, a dry garden of cacti and succulents, a herb garden, a bamboo grove and argan trees.
It is this secret, underground abundance that gives life to the 3 hectares of Bab Akoul Atlas. At Bab Akoul, water is our heartbeat. You will hear it whisper in our traditional fountains, see it mirror the Moroccan sky in our expansive pools, and feel its cooling grace throughout the estate.
An olive grove and orchard that feed the table
More than 200 Moroccan picholine olive trees produce a fruity oil, while around a hundred fruit trees fill our jams and our seasonal table.
Eight accommodations, one same quietness
Spread between the main Villa and the Pavilions, each with its own character, all opening onto the gardens.

What Our Guests Say
We had a great stay at Bab akoul, the location was a good escape from marrakech and gave us a break to relax. I had the massage and it was really good, I am a picky person when it comes to that. I have to give my hat to Mohamed, he was there to help us, look after us, he was the kindest person I have ever met. Truly made the stay magical. Plus the cook was also perfect, every meal was fantastic.

Wonderful stay. Moroccan atmosphere but with a more European finish. Great care from the host, which is why it feels very much like “home”. Manager Marwa also helped us with an improved final bill, for which we are grateful! Hospitality as you like to see it.
A huge thank you to the entire team at Bab Akoul Atlas for this wonderful, timeless escape.

The place is exceptionally beautiful, nestled in a peaceful setting where calm, serenity, and authenticity reign. But beyond the beauty of the landscapes and the charm of the place, it is above all the soul of this house that deeply touched us.

This soul is embodied by Mohammed, whose kindness, generosity, and attention to each guest make the stay unforgettable. We felt welcomed like friends, almost like family. The moments of sharing and conviviality that he naturally creates are precious. A superb location at the foot of the Atlas Mountains with breathtaking views. A little further from Marrakech, but what a joy to return after the hustle and bustle of the city center. A huge thank you to Naima, who cooked delicious meals for us during our stay (I've never eaten such good couscous). And also to Mohammed, who went out of his way to take good care of us during our stay. A massive thank you to you both and all the best!
